I am an Abstract Action Painter. I get just as much joy from the process of painting and my interaction with the materials as I do from the finished product. I enjoy connecting color, movement, energy and space to emotions and the human psyche.

I'm inspired by travel, relationships and the modern world around me. My perspective has changed and shifted many times over the years, especially after having children of my own. I have gathered ideas from sentiments, shapes, flowers, movement, color, nature...
My viewers are drawn into each piece through layers of acrylic paints and passionate brushstrokes. I tend to paint in series (a collection of 5-10 pieces), but not always, like if something strikes me! I especially love painting commissions on large canvases.
I studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Delaware College of Art and Design and Pennsylvania State University, including study abroad in France. I am honored to have my work in private collections: homes in the US and Europe; corporate offices; medical facilities, working professionally since 2003.
